Abstract
This study is aimed at testing: 1) Human resources The impact of development on the effectiveness of the PTS lecturer at Kopertis area IX Sulawesi. 2) Individual characteristicsImpact on the efficacy of the HHT lecturer on the Kopertis area IX Sulawesi. 3) The impact onthe performance of self- management PTS in Region Kopertis IX Sulawesi. 4) the impact on theindicators of adherence to the profession of the teacher PTS in the Kopertis area of IXSulawesi. 5) The effect of performance against the PTS lecturer in the Kopertis area of IXSulawesi. The method of research using cause-effect design as it aims to measure the cause-effect relationships between certain variables, variables of human resource development, individualcharacteristics, self-leadership and commitment to the profession of performing PTS lecturerKopertis IX Sulawesi region. Type of study Explanatory study concerns / explanatoryresearch, as researchers explain the cause - effect relationship between variables by testinghypotheses. As used inspection method, since the information collected through questionnaires and data received from the samples on the population to represent the entire population(Singarimbun and Effendi, 1989). The population in this study, all the staff of the Faculty Kopertis Region IX Sulawesi, which has the status of a permanent foundation lecturers, as well as a permanent lecturer country seconded to the PTS (teacher KDP) or sex, men and women working in various forms of universities, namely the University, High school and academy, which is 11 036 teachers. Was established on the basis of a sample of the local population, the samples taken in this study was 386 respondents. Data were analyzed using structural modeling equations (SEM) The results showed that the development of human resources and a significant positive impact on the performance of teachers. The influence of individual characteristics on the performance of the lecturer shows that the positive effect on the individual characteristics of self dosen.Pengaruh guidance on the execution of the performance of the lecturer shows that the leadership itself has a positive effect on the performance of teachers. Impact on the profession's commitment to teacher performance shows that the commitment to the profession positively affects the work of teachers. The magnitude of the effect of performance shows that the performance is also significantly affect the career of a lecturer.
