This study investigated the role of motivation and educational costs in establishing
the interest of S1 Accounting graduates to pursue a further degree in Accounting
Professional Education (PPAk). Therefore, a case study was applied to S1 Accounting
graduates in Surabaya. Data were collected through a questionnaire method with a nonprobability sampling technique, namely non-random selection in the form of purposive
sampling. This study used quantitative analysis, including validity, reliability, and
hypothesis testing through the R2 test, t-test, f-test, and multiple linear regression
analysis. Data analysis technique applied Multiple Linear Regression to prove the
research hypothesis. As a result, this study indicated that the variables of career
motivation, economic motivation, quality motivation, and education costs significantly
affected the interest of S1 Accounting graduates to take Accounting Professional
