INOVASI PROSES PEMBUATAN OTAK-OTAK BANDENG SEBAGAI PRODUK UNGGULAN KABUPATEN GRESIK

The partner on the implementation of this PKM is the small industry and household (ikrt) otak otak
milkfish located at Jalan Sindujoyo, Gresik Regency, East Java province. The purpose of this PKM
activity is to improve HR skills and competencies, production process becomes effective and
efficient, wider marketing range, increased production, more durable products, and better
financial management. While the indicator of success in the implementation of PKM is improving
welfare, increase product competitiveness, increase sales turnover, and improve financial
management skills. Based on observations and interviews conducted by team PKM with partners,
there are several identification Mitra problems: 1) do not have equipment used in smoothing
seasoning, so that in the process of smoothing seasoning Should be brought to the market for
grinding/mashed; 2) The process of mixing spices with milkfish still using hands; 3) The product is
only lined with banana leaf/oil paper, then inserted into the box made of paperboard, so as to
affect the endurance/durability of the product is about 3-4 days; 4) do not have media marketing on
line. Sales are done so far, only limited to consumers who come to his shop; and 5) Don’t know
how to create the correct financial statements. The solutions offered by team PKM to the partner are as follows: 1) manufacture of seasoning grinders/grinding tools; 2) The manufacture of meat mixing and seasoning equipment; 3) Buy vacuum equipment; 4) The creation of marketing media on line, ie E-Commerce; and 5) Conduct training on making financial reports.
